Ceramic soap dishes

My sisters mother-in-law is an artist and sometimes she lets me play in her studio. Two weeks ago she helped me make ceramic soap dishes together with my boyfriends mother. We had great fun and I never expected we'd be able to make so many! We were there for a long afternoon and made 22 in total. I was expecting not to be able to make more than 2-3... A week later the dishes were baked and ready to be glazed.

Here's some of the dishes I made:

En these were made by my mother in law (who was way more productive than me):

Two beer soaps

A while ago I made 20 beer soaps for a local brewer, using his beer. He sold all of them within less than 2 months. So I made more. I started using palm oil again for this one because I couldn't get any coconut oil in my area and I only had a little left. I will have to go order it online again.

Oils: coconut, olive, palm, castor
Liquid: Kasparus dark beer // Kasparus regular beer
Additves: rhassul clay, cinnamon // Dead Sea mud, oat meal
Scent: PO lemon verbena // PO Olympia
Method: CP

Goatmilk & Chamomile soap

Oils: coconut, olive (chamomile infused), palm (found some in the cupboard, actually stopped using it), sunflower, castor, flax seed
Liquid: raw goat milk
Additives: titanium dioxide, white clay, Dead Dea mud
Scent: FO Chamomile
Method: cold process, put in the freezer for 3 hours

I got a partial gel and slight overheating in the middle. It's also a bit grainy because it traced almost as soon as I started mixing. Then adding the FO made it even worse. I don't really mind though, it makes the soap look robust and rustic.
