Beersoap
Oils: coconut, olive, sesame, palm, castor
Liquid: Kasparus beer
Additives: yellow clay powder, annatto powder
Scent: PO 'Cotton Fresh'
Method: CPOP
Another batch for our local brewer. I mixed the lye and oils at quite high temperature so trace came very fast. I had to scoop the dough into the slab mold. To give them a rustic, handmade look I cut the bars with a knife (quite less regular than I intended though).

Ceramic soap dishes
My sisters mother-in-law is an artist and sometimes she lets me play in her studio. Two weeks ago she helped me make ceramic soap dishes together with my boyfriends mother. We had great fun and I never expected we'd be able to make so many! We were there for a long afternoon and made 22 in total. I was expecting not to be able to make more than 2-3... A week later the dishes were baked and ready to be glazed.
Here's some of the dishes I made:

Two beer soaps
A while ago I made 20 beer soaps for a local brewer, using his beer. He sold all of them within less than 2 months. So I made more. I started using palm oil again for this one because I couldn't get any coconut oil in my area and I only had a little left. I will have to go order it online again.

Goatmilk & Chamomile soap
Oils: coconut, olive (chamomile infused), palm (found some in the cupboard, actually stopped using it), sunflower, castor, flax seed
Liquid: raw goat milk
Additives: titanium dioxide, white clay, Dead Dea mud
Scent: FO Chamomile
Method: cold process, put in the freezer for 3 hours
I got a partial gel and slight overheating in the middle. It's also a bit grainy because it traced almost as soon as I started mixing. Then adding the FO made it even worse. I don't really mind though, it makes the soap look robust and rustic.

Scrub soap
I cut the gardeners soap and tested it but I should have used much more pumice. It's hardly noticeble. I used 1 tbs per pound of oils, must remember to double that next time. The green color is slowly turning brown. I used green clay and spirulina? Does anybody know what is causing it?
This weekend I'm trying to sell them even though they're not cured yet. I put a huge sign on them saying " use after 31-07-2013". I'm having a small table on a fair on an ecological farm called "BuitenBant".

Cherry Blossom soap
I'm so happy with how this soap turned out. I planned for pink drops (cherries) and green leaves on top. It's pretty close to how I imagined it should be. Now I wish I made a larger batch...
Oils: coconut, olive, wheat germ, castor, shea butter
Liquid: water
Additives: TD, pink clay, green clay, rhubarb root and alkanet infused olive oil (for the pink)
Scent: Japanese Cherry Blossom
That brownish stuff on top is actually much lighter, it only shows up in the pictures. Does anybody know what that could be?
